The problem with dealing with 20+ year old vehicles. Connectors, plugs and grounds start acting up. Intermittent problems can be a real PITA to troubleshoot.

Thanks man. I think I've seen you posting around here, haven't seen any pictures yet. I'd love to see your car :D
And yes, I do drive around those places all the time. I go to school in Rancho and go to church around La Puente and such. What color is your Celica?

For sure man. 20 year old cars... haha
The car's electrical ground is a big one for me. My HIDs don't work right because of it. It's either one light not working or both. Until I kinda rev up the engine and charge the battery enough to give that extra power to the HIDs. Doesn't last very long though and one light goes out haha.

UPDATE: It's been months and months but My car is now running. Reliably :)
    What was replaced:

    Coil
    Fan Relay
Steering Arms(Had humongous play in them)
    Auto Transmission

    I'm happy :)

    BUT....

I really REALLY wanted a manual tranny but hey, I gotta pay $800 more for it :( I don't think that's including Labor....
Had to go for needs vs wants, as always. And we needed it running ASAP.

Although, I won't be driving the beauty as much lol. My father will be using it for his 2 jobs and may put in over 150 miles a day with it. Good thing the car is a gas saver.Although, I don't mind if he uses it, work is work, gets money on the table I'm not complaining. At least I'll be driving this beast <3

    Dodge Ram 1500 w/Long bed
When the semester starts at school, parking will be a pita lol

Anyway, right now since I won't be able to do much performance wise to the car (not a suprise lol) , I will be freshening up the car, making it look good, reliable and something that doesn't give me any worries.
    Things like:

    -Oil Leak (Gasket)
    -Fix peeling clearcoat
    -Paint car(under $100)
    -Install Viper Alarm
    -Install Fuel Cut-Off Switch
    -Try to repair A/C system
-Hopefully newer wheels and Get some spacers
    -Normal maintenance

Performance stuff will come much, MUCH later...

Thanks guys :D Just when everything seems okay there just HAS to be another problem lol. My one year old rebuilt alternator seems to not be charging the car. If I can recall, I think it has warranty.
