tinting is very easy to do.......but it makes it alot easier if you have ALL the right tools.

    My 2 cents-
Before any work on your car remove the panels yourself. That way they don't get messed and you know how to put them back. I saw a car last week with a smashed door panel cuz the appy was too lazy/dumb to find all the screws. The windows need to be scraped clean below the door line and for the rear window I rcommend wire wool and soap with some light rubbing, DON'T scrape a rear window - ever! If you do all this, all they have to do is wipe clean and apply and your baby suffers less at the hands of morons.

That's what I don't have haha. I just have my hands.
So remove the door cards and it's interior as well? Easy enough, I removed it before to fix some clunking and to tighten up the glass. Good idea. Rear window? :sad5 Too late lol. Eh, I don't really need the defroster. It was disconnected over a decade ago. I'll probably replace it soon though. My rear and front windows are scratched, probably from the wipers catching some small racks and sanding my window down. Is there any polish for glass?

car polish works just fine on glass sand the glass down with w/paper 1500 or 2000 grid it's very fine paper so it wont damage anything then polish it tinting it should easy for those that done it before I some how do all my car's myself but with glass out it works best Inconnection with those guy's that did job for you I would have gone back and speak with owner and explain and show mistake's and don't give it back to them try get money back they not trust worthy might
    just destroy more

Heres the AC lines I have, but if your leaks are at the fittings then like
jwagner162 said its just the O rings that need to be replaced. As far
as I can tell their all pictures of the same leak and that leak is at the
connection of the large pipe and the cooling unit, and if thats the case
its almost certainly just an O ring since the large pipe that connects
to the cooling unit is a solid pipe and I don't think its rusted out. I think
the pipes are probably aluminum as I don't see any rust on any of mine
and if they were steel they'd have rust.

Working on a front splitter. It's already on the car, all I need to do now is sand it a tad, paint it flat black, and reinforce it with a couple more brackets.

Black, black, black and black is the theme here. Nice and brutal looking :D "Murdered out"

By the way Dave, thanks for the pics of the hoses lol I feel as if I owe you a thanks.

The murdering process goes on. Here are some pics of the front splitter. It's 80% done, but as always, priorities and $$ is hindering me from continuing and finishing :banghead

I did mean to make this splitter somewhat functional. The splitter stops right before the tranny and I've shaped it so that the wood wouldn't get burned up by the exhaust. Around the tow hooks behind the valance is where I've cut NACA style ducts and it also doubles as a place where a tow truck can hook onto. No worrying about removing the splitter every time a situation like that comes around.

Although I did notice my temp being a tad bit lower more often than not. Makes me feel like I did it right haha.

Original plan was to cut some aluminum strips so that the air would feed right up to the radiator. Color was supposed to be flat black instead of gloss, since I had some paint lying around. Was also gonna put some square shaped foggies behind the valance.

But all in all, I spent less than $20 for the homemade splitter including the lens tint spray can. Although, it's not how I wanted it too look, I'm quite please with how everything turned out.

looks good! only thing that bugs me is the sides of the splitter, me thinks that it would look hot if it was flush to the front lip!

minus the fact that its wood i like it. needs to be FG, plastic or alloy. wood as a splitter just doesnt sit well with me. moisture, weight and potential for all dont sound good.

    good work though

    Re: SoCal "Murdered Out"

    Thanks guys.

I've soaked the wood in oil, so it should be fine for a bit until I get funds for fiberglass and/or aluminum base. Originally I was also gonna rivet an aluminum panel on top and under the splitter and paint it flat black. Yes it's extremely tacky lol, but it's not done yet.

Actually Eric's splitter was what inspired me to do something like this. I made this front splitter for under $15, compared to his ARP for $250 lol. It's almost pennies to replace if an accident should happen.

    Re: SoCal "Murdered Out"

you guys do realize that all the true race cars use either dry carbon (1K plus for a front splitter) or balsa wood.

plywood might be a bit excessive but i like the design.
