This is after having it on for a few days. It's amazing how blue it got so quickly! (cant really tell because of the flash on the camera)

Also got the boost controller on...Was running 16psi but it was a little scary on the wet roads lol I could break all four tires loose from a rolling start!:biggrin2 Now running 12psi seems much better!

how did you turn boost down? i think you had another issue that you fixed without knowing it.

The turbo VSV on the 205 limits the boost to wastegate pressure in 1st and 2nd gear which is 8 PSI. in 3rd gear up the VSV bleeds off pressure and raises the boost. my vsv was broken and not bleeding off pressure so all i did was install a manual boost controller and get rid of the vsv.

http://www.gtfours.co.uk/mods/205/first_mods.htm that gives some info on it.

I did my mbc the other night as well as disabling the vsv. I have mine at 13 psi until my clutch is broken in. Just get some rad tires and you'll be fine;) my down pipe broke on the first start also so I'm waiting for my new one... Oh and btw... My car is done. 220 miles in and I am in love all over again. 205 motor with the tranny and rear end really revived my 165. Way more than I thought it would!!

Glad to hear you got it running! Post up some pics and videos of it!

I finally raised my boost back up to 16 PSI. I've got fairly decent tires.

How many bulbs do you need ? Are the bulbs naturally blue or do they have a blue sleeve on them ?

Did you take the whole gauge out from the panel ? I think it would be difficult to put back in if you did that.

The bulbs are Blue LED's. I think there are 5? Not sure? I've got plenty left though if anybody want's them. I will post up some pics of what it requires... It only took me 10 mins to swap out all the bulbs and put it all back together.

Hmm, I would like blue lighting behind the dials, but not behind the red zone's and odo meter etcetera... wish it was easier to make some custom gauges.

i thought 205s had the base pressure much higher. but it seems to be the same as a stock 165. interesting (at least in 1st and second)

I was shocked as well. The low end torque is the biggest difference I've noticed with this engine. It is a night and day difference vs the old engine. I recommend this swap to anyone who is looking for more power out of their car. It is not that hard and doesn't take very long once you figure it out. The wiring is by far the hardest part.

Done mine like this on the vert
    I used white led's
Then put red and blue tint films on the back of dials

    Extra, led's

Still needs a bit of work to, even out the light

Hope you, don't mind the pics Scott

Dont mind at all!! That looks super nice! Wish I had the patience and attention to detail to do that lol. I'm just finishing up swapping out a Walbro 255LPH fuel pump! Can't wait to drive it tomorrow!

Who really knows which LED's spread the light perfectly?

Just as a word of warning, I'd probably avoid this style:

They look very well made, and the light is beautifully bright - but after about 2 weeks of driving, the solder melted and they flicker like mad.
Mind you, my globes get a workout with the volume of driving I do.. but they should be able to handle it.

This style might be more fitting, and create much more even light:
    "Panel"

I don't, sorry.. Aus stocked ebay here.. lol

Just search up 'T10 white led 5050 panel' - should come up with a fair bit.

Also as for the first kind.. That was just my experience, maybe I got some dodgy ones or something..
I'm sure a fair few guys here use that kind, as they're very common. I'll be avoiding them myself, but
