I love the look of it, for some reason my wideband decided to crap out on me today...oh well. Also on my way to work tonight I smashed a 1999 bmw M3. Wasn't even a close race. You should have seen the guys face! Lol

I rear ended someone on my way home from work today. Could have been worse. I have some questions about the broken bits and whether or not they are fixable. I will post detailed pictures tomorrow

My heart just sunk when it happened. This car is my baby and I love it dearly. I hope it is fixable...and within my budget

Yeah pop the hood and take some pics.....if you can get some underneath shots too.....

was it still running? Leaked coolant?

Still running and drove to the shoulder just fine. Did leak coolant.

So these two pictures show the part I'm most concerned about. The first picture is close up the second one is farther out to give you an idea of where it is. I will try and get more detailed pictures later. These were just taken as I was heading out of my door to work[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Everything other than the one piece I pointed out looks to be replaceable. I need to check my exhaust manifold for cracks though, the radiator hit the turbo and exhaust shield pretty hard

first things first..... dont start messing with anything until the insurance takes a look at it........seriously dont touch anything with tools!

whos at fault? I would think you are and do you have collision?

start a list of the things you know need to be replaced.......

    hood
    fenders
    grill
    side marker lights
    headlmp buckets
    headlight motors
    front bumper support
    radiator
front core support (if it cant be pulled straight)

honestly, totally easily repaired. its the core support that bothers me and until further photos are seen.

This feature maybe your expensive fix........ if you have insurance it will be considered a totaled due to the weld is broke on the core support. IF SO YOU BEST BUY THAT SHYT BACK.........IF NOT LET ME KNOW THE COST AND ILL BUY IT BACK.

I only have liability coverage. It looks like it may be easy to bend back but is that the proper/safe way to do it? How would others on this site deal with this? I really want a few opinions before doing anything about it.

sell it to me and ill take care of her from now on.....

honestly you can rebend and reweld it, safe....ummm depends, if you cant weld then strip what you can and find another core support and let a shop do that for you.... the rest is bolt on and aligning.

How much would you buy it for? I can guarantee you I won't get what I want. I can get the welding done no problem but it is cracked so I may weld the crack or grab a new one from the wrecker. The problem is going to be cutting a new one out because you can't take power tools into the local wreckers so welding up the current one would be the best
