gee well its been a while and finally got some things done, started rebuilding my turbo during the week so thats on the go, but i also did some testing last night and i decided to do a compression test, i got spot on 150 psi on all cylinders, now from what i have tryed to calculate, i beleive that means i have 10.3:1 compression ratio (i think) and from things that i have read it is way to hight to turbo on standard internals, can anyone tell me if all my calculations are correct?

ok so it seems ive been a bit slack here and need to update
small one at that
found some time on the weekend to install the 440cc injectors didn't get a chance to drive till today........
when i did take it for a drive went soooo much better

you might need to turn it up to hear the boost and flutter lol

not much else to update on now just getting the piping done when i can afford it. and the child requires more attention as she gets older

I think it might have something to do with the resistors in line with the injectors because I don't have a resistor pack I put 10ohm resistors in for each injector to bring them all unto about 14ohms even thought the gt4 ran with 16ohms the 2 ohm difference and te differen e in amps isn't enough to worry about

dunno never had it at 16ohms, but when i had the 4 rx7 hi impeedance injectors that run at 14 ohms on their own the light never came on, so yeah might be something to do with that

been a little while since i've b een around and not really much has gone on, i am waiting for a better cash flow in the new finacial year, but at this stage im turning the car into a street/track car. im applying for my CAMS license (racing license) and the car is going to be passed and logbooked (race approved) with a cage harnesses and seats, but still be registered, and for now im just starting to clean the car out and clean it up a bit, and i will be looking at giving it a new coat of white in the future




for now the plans are just strip the interior out. take out the sound deadener, put the seats back in make a harness bracket behind the seats, just so i can test it at the track. in the next month and befor then get the exhaust finished and intake finished then ill make some more lists further down the track

i spose i should really give you guys a run down of what i have been doing thats non celica related over the last 5 months

over these last few months i ha ve spent my time with my father inlaw who has been racing for over 40 years, and in this year we have been to some large meetings and some very famouse tracks around aus

this is our Holden XU-1 Torana. this was our first meeting for the year at the historic round at philip island witch is the track they do a round of moto GP, at this even there was over 550 cars entered for racing over 3 days, cars ranging from early 40's to late 80's

lining up on the dummy grid with all the other group Nc cars witch is a historic class between certain years

this was our next meeting about 3 weeks later at phillip island for the first round of the victorian state series

we ended up with some bad luck and we were not able to complete the round, as you can see the large white cloud on the left had side up high just coming of the a part of the track called the southern loop
