oh and current tune at 341whp on pump!
now here is why it's not as high as everyone hoped...
the new trans gear ratio and loss through the quaife. so with the s53 we had 335 on pump, change that all around with the new trans, change the ems and ignition, add a couple little bits here and there, get 341 on pump. i can't complain. now to get the new exhaust manifold and wastegate and make much much more. it evident on the dyno what the current issue is. i need a better VE.
(i'd post torque but i need to make a loop in the harness to have the dyno read rpm, it can't read the signal after the ignitor because of the DLI)

ROFL. laser alignment. after the 3rd time i did it i got the specs i wanted.
    rear camber -1.6 degrees
    rear toe +0.15 degrees
    front camber -0.4 degrees
    front toe 0

now the reason i did this...
i've got the most horrific torque steer but i have to compromise with racing and being a handling/street car.
so the high rear camber is to counter act the "fishtail" effect i have
the rear toe is a stock spec
the front toe being dead zero is simply stock spec
the front camber is where i did the most work. i needed negative camber to keep road holding, but i needed a very low number to keep the tires flat. now my car has a little lift when i leave the line so the camber will go closer to zero right when i need it. the other reason the toe on the front is zero is because of this lift effect. so when i launch the car, i know the toe will change. idealy it will stay reasonable. after the test drive i can't be happier. i even got my steering wheel rotated about 6 degrees to the right. which makes it far more comfortable when i'm in the "launch" position.

wow i went from not flush at all to hella flush! i had to use a piece of paper to see if they hit. hopefully they don't hit the body. i had to order 10mm spacers for the front so these would clear the caliper and i ordered centric rings after i measured everything.

when i get the front ones on next week. then i'll take a pic.

as it turns out i had to modify the rear arches a lot (the stockish arches not the flares) now i have tons of room.

well new 12mm spacers on the front, all new lug nuts and new rear spacer studs. we also re-arched the front fenders (cause they are that close to the tire now) and re-arched the inner rear fenders (cause they still hit). so hopefully almost ready for road racing!

i also did some ecu work (programming) and dash work (programming again). much better. still more to do. i need to increase the cold coolant temp fuel add, increase the throttle pump add, and decrease the amount of fuel at idle.
time will get all the little bugs out.

so the order at SRT is:
percision turbo and 46mm external wastegate, custom v-band manifold, v-band downpipe, 4" intake tube, 2.5" cold and hot intercooler pipes, and 50mm tial bov

eventually i'll paint the red line blue. then i'll like them more. the new set solved a lot of issues i was having. no more rubbing. no more piece of paper clearence. ect.

Maybe it's the picture, but somehow they look misplaced...

I must say it's not my taste of wheels (5-spoke forever!) but a light (alloy) colour would be nicer on it I think. And do they look small on your car??? :)

But if they solve the issues you had :

i agree they do look smaller. but they are stupid light. and from the small choices i found that are actually in this country, this fit the build. i like the black (not the red stripe on them). and i do agree that 5 spoke look far better, while the multi spoke (or basket wheels) look more like a proper racing wheel (to me).

Damn man, I just spent the last half hour going through your build. Looks awesome. Makes me want to go out in my unheated garage(wont be that way for long when I get some more funding) and start turning wrenches. Picked up a lot of good ideas along the way here for my rebuild. Definitely appreciate you sharing the triumphs and pitfalls, its gonna make some of the things I was gonna do easier(and easier on the pocket book).
