the collector is a SRT exclusive CAD design. the runners are equal length and made of crazy thickwall ss weld els. and the wastegate is a massive precision 46mm.

OMFG...i thought the car was nuts before. so before i post some pics let me explain:
the car gained over 30 ft/lbs of torque over the ENTIRE rpm range. in the mid range the car picked up about 75 ft/lbs. that's more than a yaris makes!
    new numbers: 369whp 337ft/lbs

this is so you can see the retarded amount of gain. red is the newer and green is the older. f'in crazy.

also to note: i've got a strange chassis vibration. it's been there for a while but this thing accelerates to stupid in no time. so it's far more revelant now. i think i'm going to remove the second set of spacers and see how it feels. i think i may have exceeded the range for the suspension by moving the tires out so far.

Nice Willie, I see 500hp on the horizon and a chute on order?

I read somewhere your "E" box broke - how?
Got any pics of the driveshafts?
    Which shafts are you using?

Saw some guys talking about short ratio sets for the "E" series. To me they all look similar but for the RC which has a longer diff.
Any idea what they were talking about?

And I'm sure you both will - Send em home with homework!

stig: i wound up with a e153 box. been great ever since. and i'm using crw race axles. which appear very similar to stock 165 axles. which are unavailable everywhere.

    walka...mabye...

so this is the reason i do things in stages.
with the retarded amount of torque i gained...i now need to change my entire pcv system out. i put half a quart in the catch can today. in 70 miles. time to drop a vlave cover off at SRT and get some modifications done. i'm thinking 2 -10 lines. one from stock location and the other from the intake side of the cover. then a custom made catch can. should well over kill the pcv.
then a couple edits on the computer for throttle "pump" settings.
order new spacers as they are the problem with my shaking...my fault though. won't make that mistake again. stupid ebay cart.
and once again change my oil weight. out with 20-50...last year...out with 10-30...this year...hello 10-40. hello even more scarce oil. ah well.

the reason i'm telling you guys all of this stuff is so that you can see all of the damn things that have to change as an engine progresses. remember the coolant system issues i had. turns out that the koyo rad was too good and now i run a restrictor plate. now i'm having strange pcv issues. who knows what will be next.

I'm aware of PCV problems with performance motors but didn't realise it was that extreeme.
What boost & injectors are you at now? I've seen guys running 25lbs with 2000cc injectors - retarded, but neccesary

That's weird, the gt4 axles won't fit my MR2 E153 box, not only is the diff splines way too big but the shaft seals are way bigger too?
Does yours have different covers or smaller shaft seals?

i'm using a camry v6 box (solara 1999), 1991 mr2 non turbo inner axles, st165 crw race outer axles.

me too. my inner shafts are turbo shafts just not lsd. did i type that wrong?

also 20w-50 weight it is. there isn't anything else available in what i like.

    and post race inspection:
lost my alternator bracket bolt, no biggie
    changed serpentine belts (finally)
    removed front spacer
    tire pressure change
    clean breather tank

hawk pads, all the way around
    new slotted rotors, all 4
    megan coilover set
    185 large bore master cylinder
    gt-lma brake fluid flush
    4 wheel alignment

so all that is on the way. a couple things i had to special order. front pads are carbon (yeah, that should bite) as are the rear pads. hps front and hp rear. brand new coilover set for a st184 (thanks for the test dummy tim!). sold the entire current suspension. got the master cylinder here and the fluid. alignment machine at work. yep. time to build a dog house. cause it's still cold outside and you need a key for the shed.

OMG hawk hp plus pads are freaking nuts grippy. jesus. wearing the shoulder harness is no longer an option for cruising. barely any pressure = eat dash.
on the flip side, very little pressure or low speed = the most god aweful noise. i'm assuming this is from the damn zinc coating on the new rotors.

i also changed my tune back to RAW data instead of VE. and no more problems. (mostly, a couple changes to make)

and then...suspension upgrade went great and i made some small changes (as per my computer model) that seemed to have gone quite well.
i mounted the front upper mounts so that i can add caster and camber. needless to say i maxed them out. (also improves the shock angle)
    new alignment specs:

    front toe
    R 0 L 0

    front camber
    R -0.6 L-0.6

    front caster
+2 both sides (we start with 0)

    rear toe
    R -0.1 L-0.1

    rear camber
    R -1.6 l -1.6

    all in degrees of course.

    This is awesome :D

One thing I'm confused about though, is why you run a GE head? I thought they were weaker than the GTE head and one of the reasons you can't turbo a GE reliably?

From what I understand there are very few differences between the 1st gen GE and GTE's.

and i assume higher compression and better cams than gte heads
