    day 38
Today we assembled the rear e-brakes and cables, sanded and mounted the front bumper, did the necessary modifications on the side skirts, and ran more steel braid. Also I had to mount my NRG quick release.

I'll finally have a column with ALL the options: tilt, memory tilt, telescope, variable speed wiper delay, (had cruise), and removable steering wheel!

    Day 39
Well today we began the final run on her. we've got very little time and a mountain of work to do.
After 4 hours of fighting and adjusting and prying, I finally got tyhe hood pins on and the latch, fenders, hood, and headlights to line up. I also got my new steering wheel in and mounted that up. Mike started molding the front end on and got the last 2 peices of the suspension off the grey car. We sanded 60% of the entire body to prep for paint and such. Then we cleaned up a bit.
    groupies!!

    Day 40
We finished sanding the entire car! Then we marglassed the rest of the front bumper in. Then I got an itch so we mounted the front fender flares. Oh My God! She will live up to her name, no doubt. She smiled at me when we went outside to take a look.

I hope things really start to cooperate. I may not make the meet in a celica at this rate. there is just way too much work to be done but i'm sure going to try.
today we molded more (still in the prefinish stage) and began mounting other hardware here and there.

we got bored with bodywork so we decided to install the motor and trans. so 4 hours later and a lot of plumbing the motor is in. then my windsheild guy came and removed the windsheild from the grey car and installed it on this car (kinda pissed me off cause he did it in 30 minutes, took me 2 hours to get the stock one out).

we installed both axles and the torque mounts. doesn't sound that hard right? we discovered that alltrac and FWD rear mount brackets are different because that was a lot of fun to change under the car.

    Day 51
Well today i finally got one of the best body guys i know to help out. We Blocked the entire car down, polished some minor mud work and reprimed the car. Then after lunch we decided to fine sand the entire car again. Then mike showed up and we thought it would be good to prep for later and we cleaned the shop and taped the car off to paint. Then we thought, well hell we are this far, so we painted all the black! And i hate f'ing flying bugs!

I finally finished the "Nemesis" Tobacco Road Vid. It's a bit shaky since I didn't bring the tripod, but it's pretty cool seeing the power contrast between engines (3sfe, 3sgte) I pretty much had to redline 2nd, 3rd just to stay in sight  Maaan, she's really going to fly when the boost controller is hooked-up!
