    Day 19
Well today we welded and cleaned. We are preparing the car and shop for the lift so the underbody can be painted. We are trying to lift the car nearly 6 feet in the air. Hopefully next week we will be beginning the painting stages!

    Day22
95% of the welding is now done! All of the floorboards are welded up and the quaters are done. There is only one spot left to finish! We cleaned the windsheild area, scrubbed away more grit and grime under the hood, wire brushed the entire rear section, vacuumed, and the list goes on. 8 solid hours of work.

    Day 23
The welding nightmare is over, finally. All the chassis welding is done! We also raised the car today and I realized how uneven the floor is. Yikes! Needless to say I didn't have the balls to go over 2 feet. We scrubbed down the whole car and now it's time to POR15 the underside, engine bay, and wheel wells.

    Day 24
3 hours of painting POR15 over the entire bottom of the car, floorboards, and the engine bay. My god, I swear this car will be the death of me yet. If the fumes from welding doesn't fry my lungs this stuff will. And before the question comes up, yes I was wearing a mask. Now to fix little spots hear and there and topcoat the POR15.
    POR15 pics!

    Day 26
We removed the grey cars body kit, shed a tear for it! Then we started assembly on the white car and began organizing the mountain of parts.
On a side note: the grey car was literally rotting out. Under the body kit was worse than I could have imagined and to that we get to add another body to the scrap yard. This one will be crushed and smelted into a new car one day.

    Day 28
Today, I got covered in urethane while sealing the underside of the floorboards. Then I cut in the front fanders, stripped the other door panel from the grey car and rebuilt the electronics. Then i cut in the drivers door and mounted the panel.

    Day 35
We've been working on prepping and getting down to the nity gritty things. We've found nice places to mount catch cans and overflow tanks under the front of the fenders. OH, and 200 dollars later I've learned that the #1 rear control arm bushings are not replacable. Damnit! Otherwise, we've been mounting thigns back on the car here and there and getting a good game plan together for everything. Now that we have 3 motors in the shop we have lots of play room!

    Day36
Well we've been prepping the body kit and today we finally began installation. The rear bumper is officially on! Now for the rest. I went through the motor changing all the lines to thick silicon or steel braid. What a PITA! And while I'm at it, I decided to start removing extra crap from the motor as well. Much nicer and easier to work on, not to mention lighter! Aside from that, we've been getting everything together slowly. All the struts are installed and the rear strut brace. Both sway bars are installed and done. I'm waiting to get a couple bolts from the old car to finish bolting up the rear suspension on the new car. Oh and today I though of her name (see title).

    Day 37
We installed the rear suspension minus 1 bar, the gas tank, and buttoned up most of the work on the motor.
This is what every motor should look like under the valve cover!

Bench pressing the tank was no easy task.
