    UPDATE 6/18/08

I dont know if it was bordom or me being sick of the oil leak but she went in the garage around noon yesterday. And after about 5 hours later, 3 1/2 hours of working, the engine is pulled. I broke my old record of 5 1/2 hours by 2 hours, yay. This time, it was all by myself

damn that is impressive. i wish i knew how to drop an engine, and i wish i had the space to do it. but alas i am far from being able to do anything like that. are you replacing the seals again? i thought you had already done that. or is it something new now?

i did replace the seal but my rear main was the wrong seal. So i have to replace it again.

1 1/2 hours of drinking beer ?????? :pals: :pint: :puke:

    Nice work.

Could you rotate the engine a bit and take a pic of the distributor and intake manifold? Check out Toytuners post.

    vaccum line

Pretty much the same angle as this pic.

    Update 7/16/08

figured i would give a small update. Engine is still out of the car, i've been very sick lately so work has stopped. Its basicly ready to be thrown back in, just need to put the trans on(uhg) FYI, the twin entry doesn't work on our manifolds. I didn't plan on using it anyways, i just wanted to see if its possible, and its not. The way its rotated is off, i have pics to show later. Things to come in the future- custom 3" dp(fun), changing out 3" pipes to 2.5(freakin lag), install BOV(already welded to a pipe).

O, and before i get to fix it, i now have a fucking wrx in my garage. Im replacing the clutch, omg, i'll never work on a boxer motor again. For comparison, 3.5 hours to remove alltracs engine, 8 hours to remove wrx trans.

    UPDATE 11/4/08

Im finaly home, i was 2hrs away working. Now i've got money and time for the trac.

I started by taking apart the 2nd gen block i purchased from 19celica90. The damn thing looks pretty good for sitting 5+ years. I cleaned it up and preped it for paint and realized i dont have any  . So i'll paint it tomarow.

I bought the wheel bearing i needed for the driver front. The dude at toyota was freakin awsome. I called them up and when i said it was for a 88 alltrac they asked if this was joe. lmao. He gave me a discount to, 66$ for a 96$ bearing! I'll be putting it in tonight. Pics to follow.

im gonna start this post with a, i never replace a wheel bearing period. I figured my problem out and its my fault because I neglected to look up a how to in bgb.

So continuing on, did u know theres a snap ring that holds the wheel bearing in place? i didn't.....

heres the progress. i need a new snap ring so it wont be done tonight. I seriously pounded on this for 2 hours and screwed around with a press as well.

    UPDATE 11/30/08
The engine came out on friday night and went back in saturday night (thanks to 88st165). No problems while taking it out or putting it back in. Although, i had to put atf in the trans because mejiers doesn't sell 75w 80 trans fluid and its the only place open at 11pm. I took her for a little test run down the street and omg, it was amazing. it felt so nice but the clutch is heavy as hell now, lol. I also have the exhaust bolted up and mounted CORRECTLY, lol.
