UPDATE 4/7/08

been about a month so i figured i would update. Im pretty sure i have all the parts i need except for little crap. I still need to pull the rear diff mount and fill it but i've been occupied. I have most of the intercooler piping fit, the hot side is being such a bitch cuz theres practicly no room. I will hopefully have her done in a week.

Heres how she looks now.

 

ebay lmao. i got a kit for a civic iirc. Their all bead rolled and pretty thick. It came with the good clamps and decent couplers all for 91$.

SHES ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After months of work she finaly started. It took about... 6 tries to get her to start but she finally did. She just wont rev past 3.5k and dies after i rev her to high..... I got a code 43 which says "[43]----[Starter Sig]--------[No STA sig to ECU until engine reaches 800rpm]" wtf does that mean?

 

car starts bro, wouldn't be anything with the starter :doh:

 

well i found out why it wasn't running properly. When i drove it down the street, i brought the rpms up kinda high cuz well... i wanted to feel boost . In the process of doing that i poped an intercooler pipe off.... ops, lol. Nows shes fine. Except shes running, REALLY rich

 

I fixed the problems. I was getting code 14( ign. coil) and code 43(something with a start sensor?). I remembered that i forgot to put a ground cable on the pas. side of the engine bay. I lost it so i had to rig one up. Now she works correctly, no erratic idle, no boging down. Just backfires if i rev past 4k .

 

i dont know how much faster yet, i need to break her in before i push her too hard. That will all be done in due time

 

UPDATE 5/15/08

I figured its almost been a month, why not update. She is running pretty good, i need to instal my bov though. I do need a mbc because i hit 16 psi when doing a pull the other day, thats not good. Only problem is that damn rear main seal is bad. I shouldn't of cheaped out on that one but i've learned from my mistakes. I'll be poping her out for the 3rd time now. That should happen once i have the $ for parts/fluids because im dead broke right now.
