The pictures dont do it justice on how clean and smooth the porting and polishing is inside the cavities.

Nope..only about a week. They wanted to get mine out of the way since racing season is coming up and will be buried. I gotta get my garage all finished up so I can clean all the sawdust out and start engine building...:D

Awesome! very glad to have you back

I'd like to know more about the springs/retainers. I had dual springs on my Alfasuds and could rev them to 10 000 for 20yrs without ever breaking a spring or valve.

What is the maximum lift specced? max revs? make? price?

If it's doable on the gen2 or 3 head then that's something I'd consider, no point in investing in hybrid pistons/rods etc only to have this happen

Your head has the same #?

Well, made a leisurely trip down to Summit racing over the weekend. Picked up some more parts for the project.
Wideband AFR and some ARP flywheel bolts.
I also decided to take up Stig's suggestion and Im gonna put a oil temp sender in the oil pan so I needed an oil temp gauge.

    IMG_0668.jpg

I also got some other various goodies like this damn nice 64oz insulated mug with rubber tire bottom. Actually made here in the states.
    IMG_0669.jpg

I also picked up a new water pump from the Toyo dealer early in the week.

No they ain't - that hole in the front right of the block is an oil feed to the head and impossible to clean out without taking it all apart.

Good move on the temp gauge, mine's n/a and the temps go beserk on track, so I'm looking at oil coolers, fins on the sump etc.

    Head # ?

Ahh..you got me. Thankfully its completely wrapped in plastic right now. I just unwrapped it to take a pic.

Ill have to look to see what the part number of my head is.

I have a pretty big oil cooler now that is coming right off the oil filter(Well it will be when the motor gets re-installed.

I'm loving this motor already, head is the same but both mine became beercans recently so now I'm looking at porting a gen2 & gen3 head for TVIS

I'm anal about dust & blocks I know, comes from being lazy and wrecking some very expensive parts with garage dust.
