oh man, that just sucks! its ok better than my dead job at the local McDonalds. :D i'd much rather do what you do. and nice lip you got on there. you got to tell us how you did it. and shoulda taken more pictures while you were doing it too. but its all good. your ride is looking cleaner every time you come on. thats like everyday. at least your build is coming together much faster than mine.

oh and you should consider getting a quick release steering wheel so people cant jack your ride dude. and an alarm. :) because if i were living by you i would steel it! lol jk man. but yea, got to protect your ride.

Lol yeah man free money is so nice! :D yeah being a senior in high school only have 2 accademic classes and 2 more electives that really dont count so i have a bunch of free time that i cant work during, or spend with my girlfriend sense shes in class all day. So as a result most of the work ive done has been during free class periods, or after school lol

Im gona look forward to that,

    *update 9/11/09*
Oil Change, Sea Foam and a mysterious oil leak...
    Current Mileage, 155,916

I started the afternoon off with some light seafoam work, 1/3rd into the gas tank. 1/3 into the oil, and 1/3 in the air intake via vacum hose, with help from a friend.
The first cloud that exited the exhaust was thick and white filling almost the whole block with white smoke. After letting the car stall from the seafoam, and letting it sit for 5 mins i stated it up, I have a few pictures but with a broken camera i have no video,

the smoke was so thick and so much i couldn't see my car, and the people driving by shouted and laughed ( my friend lives on a fairly busy street),

    here are the pics

the smoke was a lot thicker when this started before we could get a camera to take pics, yet it was still thick,

the initial cloud, after about a min of it hanging in the air,

letting the car idle for about 10 mins the smoke was a bit thinner so i took it for a small drive i just rem pulling away from his house on full throttle and seeing nothing but a white cloud in the rear-vew mirror, no houses or people or other cars that were there before i pulled away, I drove until the smoke cleared almost entirely (about 10 miles) then returned to his house and changed the oil
Oil Change Mileage: 155916 Previous oil change mileage: unknown, Oil used Mobile 1 5w-30 full synthetic, with a FTP performance filter I noticed a lot more peppy-ness from the oil and sea foam, and as a question who else is running full synthetic? One thing i did notice is i have a small leak somewhere, i suspect the valve cover gasket but im not sure any one have any ideas its located in the left side of the block by the alternator and its comming out of the side, thanks!

    Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S

Yeah thats the sea foam, all that white smoke is the carbon build up burring off my cylinders and engine making it squeaky clean :D its a pretty cool product heres a info video on it if your interested

    Re: Matt's 1989 Celica GT-S

rofl thats what i thought too but one bottle worked wonders,

Oh yeah pretty much instentanious i had a lot more pick up from the engine, it was smother and it seemed to be a bit more peppy all round just rem tho the oil should be changed with in like 100-200 miles because seafoam thins it out, (ive been told several numbers ranging from 20-500 so i figured 10 miles was safe enough lol) and yeah my friend did his geo metro and it cut a second off his 20 second 0-60 time lol xD

sometimes if you seafoam older motors you can develop minor leaks or start to smoke all the time. because all that gunk and shit can be whats holding it together lol, did you get the leak after you did the seafoam or did u notice it before?
