i was debating claybar or not...but for $30 i decided to pick up a buffer for the same price on sale! i'm was quite surprised
After replacing a some sensors, I was still trying to find out why the hell my temp gauge isn't working yet. At this point I've already dealt with two mechanics. So I thought I'd give the local Toyota dealership a shot. $56 later for half an hour, they uncover a sensor underneath the coolant neck covered in grime and dirt that I haven't seen. So $20 later at my local parts shop and less than an hour later: from top (EFI water temp, temp sensor, blue bvsv (unplugged in pic)) from middle (cold start injector, black bvsv) from bottom (just the temp gauge sender) already taken out of this pic, but you can kind of see where it goes. so what i bought before was correct. but all's well that end's well. after a total of 4 sensors replaced (temp sensor, 2 blue bvsvs due to brittleness, and temp sender) the gauge works now. happy 24th birthday to my car! after going to toyota, they managed to pull up the info that my car was manufactured 10/01/87. awesome!
been looking at some new wheels since summer wheels are getting cheaper since winter is approaching: looking at the same motegi's that rickstar has: either that: http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/p ... 81896.html with 205/50/15 or http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/van/p ... 69563.html 205/40/17 or i just wait for a 16 inch set. input?
If I were you, I'd wait for some for 16 inches. Although that gunmetal color is really nice. That color may flow better since you have those black graphics on the car.
Marc man haha, whenever I click on a video on Youtube, there's your comment in the comment section haha. This happens once or twice a week lol. :lol2
ahahhaha yes, i take some pride in being an online troll btw. today marks 1 year of my celica being registered for use on the road since i owned it! 20300km's :shock fuck that's too much...
failed yearly emissions... but then again, i just walked in, no preparation, no tune ups. hopefully now with new spark plugs/fuelfilter/airfilter/higher idle/94 octane and a bottle of "guaranteed to pass", i'll pass...
meant to say i hope i'll pass... while that's going on, i decided to make my celica Lexus-powered. ES300 3VZ-FE starter! same size gear: left 3s-fe, right 3vz-fe bolts right in, all connections are the same. i haven't felt a difference yet, the flywheel grinding STILL happens, but it does sound like it's got more of a kick to it than my old original one.
oh i'd say 5lbs off. big difference in weight. start ups have been TON easier. it sounds like a high pitched start, instead of my groaning whining old one, even in the freezing weather we've had! great for those with a 3s-fe or gte!
