    wheel alignments always work wonders. and relatively cheap too!! i pay about 45 dollars for a wheel alignment, not much at all.

    What I meant was to check the tracking, caster, camber etc and see if it's still in spec, which I suspect it is.

    You freaked cuz the door looks bad (it saved your car I think), and the p/beater decided to get rich off you, but the sill and pillar don't look buckled (those dents look like the hinges folded and hit the pillar)
    That front pillar is the strongest part on the car - had they hit you 2ft back it would've bent the chassis like a banana and destroyed that side of the car.

    action to take on pulling out the pillar ?

    id almost say mark off the damaged section, drill out the spot welds, cut out the damaged section, straighten it in a garage, re-enforce it, and weld it back it..

    Can you post more & bigger pics of the pillar and the rear of the doorwell?

    Cant do any cutting or welding as i don't have the tools (why i
    went to a shop for a quote) and ya that won't be a problem to
    get pix my door and fender are off atm.
