Two pipes that come from the engine, and go to a little oil radiator behind the grill. This one :

    That is a Toyota part?

All JDM has water cooled oil cooler in my pics, top is Celica, bottom is MR2
Do you have any other pics of the cooler and filter (where do the pipes come from?)
I've been looking for a filter oil take-off to mount an RX7 cooler in front like yours

Very strange - we do not have power steering cooler here either

My '87 white Celica has the same oil cooler. And it seems that Seank has the same thing on his irish model.

That looks like it comes from the block and goes to the sump?
That sump looks like a turbo sump
If so, how does your bearings get cool oil?

second picture from the bottom!! you see a steel bar pass behind the exhaust!

well it comes out of the oil filter...through one of those pipes to the front of the car were the oil cooler is...passes through the oil cooler.. and then back into the sump and the cycle continues!!! 8)

is there anyway to tell if it was a turbo block???

The metallic pipes go directly from the oil cooler to the engine, passing under the water radiator crossmember (Seank pic #3).
My metallic pipe has been pinched between the jack and the rear down corner of the crossmember.
It has twisted and broken :?
