    Thanks everyone for the kind words.
    Unfortunately the car wont be assesed until the end of month. At the end of the day no one was hurt. i just wanna know what will happen!

    wow...that sucks realtime.... i agree it's a write-off... :( Hope you'll get some cash out of the insurance to get another st162...

    What a bummer
    Can't see that being repaired - not in Australasia at least! My g/f's Corolla was written off and all it needed was a headlight, bumper, fender & bonnet.
    I did it myself and it cost $300, panelbeaters wanted $4000.

    What happened to the ST185? Where's Fynix?

    i sold the st185. had no room for her

    fyinix still has his 162 but it needs work. dont see him much these days unfortunately. Hes not on often as where he lives he doesnt have internet access

    My car wont be asessed until the 27th! wich im not happy about but not alot i can do. In a way i think a rite off would be good depending on how much i am payed out and how much it costs to buy her back. starting with a new shell gives me a whole new basis for what i want to achieve :)

    well as anticipated my car was a total loss. i have bought it back and i got a considerable payout. i am already looking into replacement 162. So R.I.P my beloved 162 5 years of fun, headaches and ALOT of money have come to an ubrupt end. atleast for this shell lol

    Man that sucks about your car, I wouldn't know what to do with myself lol. Atleast you've got no injury. But hey after you get another shell its more fun from there on haha

    Sounds like enough to buy and shell, spray it and then swap everything over using the best bits?
    The question is do you have room to do this?

    i MAY have bought another 162 already haha.
    but yes all the good bits from my car will be swapped over into a new shell

    heres some pics from a cruise the day before my car got assesed. it was her last hoorah and she blew everyone away with her handling and torque
