I bought the Celica about 10 years ago for £3,200. It's bodywork condition is much better than the Supra. I paid £800 for the Supra about 3 years ago and couldn't believe that I had so much car in "quite good condition".

It's just the way things have worked out. Both are insured on a multi car policy for £90.00 each. I would be devastated if something happened to the Celica, where as with the Supra, I wouldn't be so concerned, having been in Celica ownership for about 18 years.

Because I rarely ever see a Celica gen 4 on UK roads, when I saw this one up for sale at a dealers 25 miles away, I just had to drive over in my Celica just to look at it even though I had no intentions of buying :naughty It was as if I needed a fix, as once I'd seen it I felt my desires satisfied :aargh :hehe

It had a full respray about 7 years ago, and a very good job. No rust on sunroof, no scabby bits. Just needs a good clean/polish and a few little things.

steve as you pointed out to me before, driving to meaningless points of interest to take more pics of my 162 is just one symptom i have..and if i use it for work i like to park it at the front corner because a) people have to walk past it when its nice and shiny b) its in a space big enough so theres only one other car next to it at any time, so it wont get dinted or scratched. As i work a lot of early shifts im usually ok for that LOL.Oh and c) the main entrance opposite has glass doors i have to drive past and see the reflection! :cool
