with what is available aftermarket wise and all my calculations:
the wing needs to be a minimum of 10" from the deck lid since it's a hatch.
this is nearly the biggest thing i could find that fits within the rules.
i took off the stock wing to see how it looks...i hated it.
i know it isn't for everyone and personally i like it better without but i need to create downforce at low speeds.
it's functional!
it won't look so bad once i make the splitter and rear diffuser.

it was either do this or have a 10" tall near vertical piece of plexi with 6 struts and a piano hindge. i think this is the lesser of 2 evils. and you guys know i actually race the car so? i'm trying to get this to be more competitive, while staying legal. i'm always open to thoughts and ideas.

-imo all the 4th gens look bad w/o the stock rear spoiler.

-really interested to see what you come up with for a rear diffuser/underbody work.

well removed the wiper switch from the columb and the wiring. easier than i thought.
then i remapped the fuel table
and then i redid the entire timing map
then i started cleaning the xb

None of those touches faze me on the general purpose for this car,its built for a specific purpose and all these additions make the car what it is...looking through your thread going way back it makes me feel a little tingly in a very inappropriate way :shock

it has come a long way hasn't it. given my options i think i've done well. i could do another chassis and make it about 400lbs lighter, and i have considered it, but i really don't like the coupes. and building another hatch just doesn't appeal to me.

while i'll always have this car, i have been very interested in what the bmw/toyota will be. hopefully it won't be a ruined car like the gt86/brz/frs is.

pulled the trans to find the mystery oil leak...rear main seal!

we spent about 2 hours just cleaning things. and I've never seen my turbo like this. it's way bigger than I thought. (had it installed at SRT)

That's one hell of a front splitter! I want to do something like that but then I would have to take that lip off :esad. Is there going to be a rear diffuser soon?
