So I went ahead and grabbed this set of allen bolts to replace the silly philips head screws we were blessed with. i also picked up a new set of valve covers from the local yard, as my breather hose and its metal end piece pop out freely from the right hand cover. anyways i was wondering if anyone else had purchased these bolts, and if so did you have any difficulty with the bolts going through the washers? i am planning to tackle this in the coming weeks. thanks!
my stock 20y old screws shined up wonderfully, why didnt you just get a bag of grd 8 hex bolts from like a brofasco or something? thats where i get all my bolts cheap.
i have the 2srus set. i figure someone went through that trouble for 20 bucks i'm game. they can be a PITA new but they are a very nice kit.
