Which engine to swap in??

    So which gen of the 3S-GTE is the best? I've heard other places that say the 4th gen breaks easily....I'm also not sure about the water-to-water IC on the 3rd gen. Which IC is best?

    I want to go with the more reliable engine. I don't plan on doing any major modifications. which would you guys recommend?

    2nd or 3rd gen gte with fmic? 4th gen isn't worth it as it's usually more expensive with only a 10hp increase from the 3rd gen

    is it possible to use an Air-to-Air FMIC on the 3rd gen since it uses Water-to-Air?

    I remember hearing something about the pump on the Water to Air IC throwing engine codes if it is not being used....is this true? Any way around this?

    I'm thinking about going with the 2nd Gen 3sgte due to the amount of aftermarket support there is. It is also cheaper/easier to find parts for.
