Just out of curiosity, how many people choose to buy parts from Toyota rather than other parts store? I am thinking of tuning the car up and need new spark plugs and wire set as well as changing radiator fluid, oil change and little things here and there. My main point is, what are the alternatives to these parts or is it best to buy them from the dealership? Thanks.
I only go to the Dealership if i can't find the parts or an upgrade to them anywhere else. if I need OEM part replacements I usually check out http://www.1sttoyotaparts.com/ Mafix has a post for aftermarket parts here http://st162.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=79 as for the minor stuff (Oil/Plugs/Fluids) everyone has their own preference.
pick a jobber that you like, and stay with them. become a regular and the discounts will follow. the dealership should be last on your list.
