Looks like an MR2 box judging by the selector position.
Put a shaft in either side of the diff and try to turn them opposite ways, if you can't and can only turn them in the same direction it's a good indication you have an LSD.

    It's a Feb 1991 MR2 box, early like mine

I have a GT4 selector, cable brackets etc spare if you need. Might have a speedo drive too

The shafts you will need to find GT4 outer shafts to fit to the MR2 inners, GT4 speedo drive - check if maybe the Camry V6 has the same type shafts?

I should have everything but the shafts here, will only know when I start moving the shed to under the house in a week or 3.
Strange to see a MR2 LSD in JHB, I did see a few SW20's there but they were all GE's, lucky the Mazda/Lotus/Fraud guys didn't see it 1st.

What was the other thing I said I had a while back?

Send me a list of all the stuff you need. My stuff is 80ks away in storage now and I have to move it/chuck it soon.
I think you need brackets for the box too
Still waiting for a descision to deport me which could happen any time

ST165/2 cables are different too, but you could make washers and use the 162 cables in the 165 bracket.

I'll get my stuff and post some pics of what you need.
Need to see a pic of the top of the box to see if the holes are there for the 165 stuff.
Did you get any mounts? fork? etc

What I need is all the brackets but let's see if it's going to work 2013-01-14 10.29.51.jpg 2013-01-14 10.31.02.jpg the fork they gave me as well it's a solid type.

Solid fork is correct on 91 boxes. (phew, the damn thing weighs a ton), looks like the breather cap is missing too.

You will need to drill & tap 2 new holes for the new select mech,
finding mounts won't be so easy.
Here's a sample of what you need

    Any joy with driveshaft outers?

I see you got the cable spacers, you'll need to measure/compare them with the 162 and make some collars/washers to fit the 165 cable bracket. I need a set of those and I'm not sure if the front mount is the same or not.

Kevin thanks that really is good useful advice not only for me
Yes now that you do know what I need let me know what will it cost for me to get it here.
The outer shaft's the guy told me that he was using Camry type but not sure on the model but even if that don't work I should be able to make up a set, the main worry was the inner's which he gave me.
Those cables that you saw on the picture they are cut just behind the shackle .

Yeah, cables are cut but you need to copy those bushes and send me a set too :wink

The V6/185 outers are a lot thicker and stronger, look at the 2nd last pic and you see another type similar to the 162 shafts without allen bolts

Try to source mounts locally, they are damn heavy and the selector mech isn't light either
