Rear suspension Mod

    i got the front ones in now for the rears. hope everything goes as planned and what all of you guys are saying its making me nervous hope no surprise's. just tell me this mafix the rears will work right? what you guys are saying just makes it easier right?

    well i got the rear ones done i just have too put them back on.

If you have KONI Yellows the adjustables there is no need to weld the threaded collar to the rear struts, You can just cut the top off the rear strut, drill a 9/16 hole in the bottom of the strut and bolt the strut cartridge into the rear strut housing from the bottom of the strut & voilla. If you have KYB AGX's you have to weld on threaded collars from junker front struts to put AGX's in the rear.

    i would not trust the little bolt to hold my strut in. my 2 cents.

    its on there pretty snug i had to hammer it down.

    This is the same setup I had on my '88 GTS, for my racecar I'm going to use front inserts for the rear, by cutting them down like the others are saying. I need a little more travel in the rear, so the shortened strut houseing will give that to me. I'm also running coil-overs, so the spring perches have already been removed, with welded collars taking their place.
