Just to get you started, I know you need another set of front struts to make it work.

why is that? doesn't the front one just comes out and slide the new one in?

I thought the rear strut assembly was slightly longer (shorter?) than the front...

just to set everything straight the front just slides right on and the rear should after the mod and the rear should be longer than the front?
still wondering what achmed meant though?

I might be wrong. Willie told me what parts I needed to snag off the last parts car to do the koni's in the rear of my car. Said I needed the front strut assemblies and you modified those to use the cartridge shocks. Maybe I am miss understanding him.

yeh the front struts on our cars are already cartridges. You will need to modify another set of front ones to make them fit the rear

As far as I know, you take the stock front ones since they will accept a cartridge(the stock rears are a single 1 piece unit) and remove the lower mounting bracket. Then you re-attach the mounting bracket in the proper location compared to the stock rear unit. That allows the rear struts to take a cartridge.

achmed that seems like it would be easier than cutting the rear ones...as long as it work's good...

Worked good on Snyders car, and Willie's car. I could be wrong. Kinda suprised Willie hasn't chimed in here yet.

we cut the tops off the fronts and the tops off the rears. take the fromt tops and weld them to the rear lowers. and watch what you talk about on some of the other suspension stuff mike. a few of us don't want the world knowing some things, lol.
