rear strut for a coupe question..

    where those ever made? or would i have to have a custom one made?

    im sure any autoparts store can get you a set of struts.

    The rears come as the housing with a sealed strut. People have modded them to be able to replace/upgrade just the strut cartridge as opposed to replacing the whole entire piece. The fronts are different (for whatever reason) where just the strut cartridge itself is replaced. If you're replacing either, I'd suggest to replace the top strut mounts also. I posted that diagram before, you'll see the strut mount as a separate part and not included with housing.

    oh i meant the strut bar. not the entire strut assembly. sorry for the mix up dudes.

    I'm guessing RedTrk will chime in here, but I've never seen one for a coupe before. You could probably mod one to fit though. Just get something that goes from tower to tower and re-drill new mounting holes.

    Gonna be a pain to get it all right though..


    I know the rear bar for my old 92 Eagle Talon fit in the back of my 165 after drilling some new holes for it to mount.
