I have an 88' convertible GT. Below is a picture of the driver side window switch.

I am trying get to the contacts of the driver's side switch that operates the passenger side window. I have removed the top part of the switch, but there is a white square-ish plastic part (shown in picture) that I am assuming I need to remove to get to the contacts.
Does anybody know how to remove this? Is this the way to get to the contacts? I’ve been using a flathead screwdriver and trying to insert and pry, but it’s been difficult to budge and I have damage some of the surrounding plastic. so I thought to ask here. Thanks.

Take the bottom apart where the plug goes in. Not the top. Careful not to lose the tiny springs and pieces

Thank you scott and stig, all's working well.

Took the bottom apart, cleaned the contacts, and greased the window tracks too. Windows respond and move great!

    Thanks all again.
