   Hey guys i am removing the Front drive shaft from my ST165, Can i put it back down on the wheels, while the Drive shaft is out?

   Toyota doesn't recommend it. If you must, put a bolt the same size of the CV shaft in there to prevent poosible hub damage. See the top pic in this link:

   noooooo leave it in the air, you will screw the wheel bearing. as rick said, put a bolt in it only if you HAVE to move it. until then keep the weight off that tire until the new shaft/ old shaft is ready to go in.
