i want them.....i wonder if you only get one or a pair when ordering?..... and they didnt come here in the us as ive never seen one.
It's just for the driver side. You wouldn't be able to open the bonnet if you have it on both wipers.
Guys, I have to appologize to plastidip... I thought it was crap but tried it on something else as a tryout and worked like a charm ! So I am considering to plastidip my roof as I think that looks cool
Haha another convert! If your going to do your roof make sure you have ample room above to lay down thin coats. If you want a smooth finish spray about 6-8 inches away and about 4-5 coats.
I'll get me some plastic used when painting the room or so and tape off the whole car except roof so nothing gets on the rest of the car . I'll use some stairs and it will be a spraycan job as it's only a small part. I think it's cool to have a 2-tone car with it as well...but first the roof. I still have to try and peel off the testpiece I sprayed yesterday.
Very nice. Heres a day time shot. Light hitting the plastidip. Also started pouring rain today and made my car look glossy for awhile, looked awesome. I wonder if tire shine would work on plastidip.
The results. Tyre shine used : Before : Preparation : Results: It will certainly improve blackness on the rubber and in my experience it will last long on tires so why not on plastidip? Makes it look just that bit better
Here is what my plastidipped car looks like after a month or so has passed. Some good close up shots of the texture. I've seen quite a bit of rain and rocks driving 60mi everyday.
Soap and water, basic car soap with no added wax. I used a VERY soft towel. I borrowed some old designer (yes designer) towels my girlfriend didn't care for anymore. Funny how rocks can hit it but using microfiber towels with soap will take layers off. I also ordered this http://dipyourcar.com/shop/article_15/Dip-Washer.html?shop_param=cid=11&aid=15& I'm curious what its actually made of but its supposed to be excellent.
