-ohh i like that, im still not sure on a metallic though. -kinda thinking a black with a pearl. dare i say it maybe even a purple pearl. -i still really like the idea of semi-gloss pearl, but sounds like it might be a pain to maintain. -keep em comming guys, its actually really helpfull.
if you like that spoon color very easy to mix base coat black with lots of gold pearl in it gold come's out when it is in the sun I did a motor bike in that color awesome not for a car
-trim is all finished and re-painted i guess i could take a pic. what a PITA that was. -the two current ideas are. magnetic dark grey, this is the new toyota/lexus dark metallic grey. or "hot-rod" black (semi-gloss) with some type of pearl and then repaint the trim, mirrors, ect to gloss. -either way ive decided that it cant be just gloss black. looking at cars on the road and in parking lots really makes me see how bad it ends up looking if not properly taken car of.
I agree black is always a bastard to keep clean but nice when clean I would not go for dark grey you might was well opel opc blue very nice color as well goes nicely with black trims
-alright i think im goin with my gut. semi-gloss black. so itl be either pearl or metalic black underneath flatened clear coat. around 30% sheen seems to be recomended. -if i hate it ill just have it done again since the body work will be finished. i was rolling around the idea of some combo of gloss bits like the grill, roof, spoiler, mirrors, trim, maybe the kit. but im just gonna see what it looks like when its finished in all semi.
