Today I made myself usefull and got the car clean for the winterperiod. She'll be sleeping in the garage and the cosmetic part is done now.
I Used Meguiars NXT carwash, clay and NXT 2.0 Wax on it.
Unfortunately no sun today so not the nices pic's :)

Ha, you missed a bit!! omly joking, looks stunning as ever. Hope you dont have the car away too long for its winter hibernation.

A subtle drop would see the car just about perfect, such clean lines.
Glad your better half will not let you sell it, my wife says the same! they are like part of the family!

I can really advice using the claybar with detailer (you need to use them together) to everybody. It really brings out the best in you cars paint ! It will make a real difference in just washing or washing and claybar it :)

It's not the cheapest stuff, but post your results!

Damn what a pain, but at least its not too bad a repair.

I have not run with any of the trim round my wind shield, as its just such a rot spot.

Once fixed though, you will have the knowledge that there are no other suprises

Well...this was the only spot I haven't seen before, so yes I can say after repairs that the car is rustfree :).

All I need to do is keep it that way, but standing in a garage will help me a lot :).

Car is at the shop now for the rustrepairs... will take about 3-4 weeks as his hands are full at this moment. But hey, I trust him and he delivered quality for value 3x allready :). Besides of that...I don't drive the Celica in wintermonths :)

280 doesn't sound that bad for what needed to be done there. that is a horrible spot to repair. very nice as always.
