Every 162 ive seen have molded spoilers against the hatch... I never knew this was normal (and i dont like it) I say this because mine had a raised wing (high enough to get your hand under, but not quite your full fist) that finished at each edge of the hatch and came stock. Was there an option on these for a wing? I thought they were normal. Ill get some picks and edit them in. The mounts rusted, so i had to pull it off and Its just sitting there http://postimg.org/image/s55wdwpxx/ And some info under it! ^_^ http://postimg.org/image/ttedixexx/ I can transpose the numbers if that helps, Just trying to work out why i have NEVER seen another celica with this on it!!
Haha yeah its pretty horrible now, thats what happens after years of it half falling off. Ive got to say Im not a fan at all of the 'normal' spoiler thats moulded to the body. A raised wing looks way better. (just not mine in this condition lol) I was more interested in if anyone has seen these before though. Does anyone know its origin? Was it an option? Where did it come from? Its original Toyota so mine *CANT* be the only one that's ever had it. So whats the deal??
Post more pictures and see if you can't get that info from underneath. It's hard to read, I'm curious to know exactly what this is
As best i can make out it reads as follows: TOYOTA Heckspoiler Hersteller: Foho Typ: 1371 Typzeichen: KBA 8686 123456789101112 Made in New Zealand under licence by Quest
This guys camry spoiler has very similar layout on the info. http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/1...-lip-spoiler-information-gen-3-gen-3-5-a.html
