This is my "ST162" for parts:

I found it on the internet but it was not easy to find.

As you can see in the pictures the car was completely original condition.

He still had the original radio

The car only had one owner and was imported from Switzerland but was never legalized.

First I started disassembling the interior.

I marked all the screws on a card not to lose them.

    And then the outside:

So it could be "stolen" ?

    MRocha Well-Known Member

No, it was not stolen definitely. The previous owner gave me all the documents all relating to the car as well as the original keys, evidence of auto service, and all that belonged to the car.

But as the car was imported from Switzerland and was not legalized in Portugal, the car can not run on the road. :ugh

In Switzerland they put salt on the road, so the bottom and side of the car is full of rust. Only the interior is that it is in very good condition.

My car is exactly the opposite. The body and the chassi is in good condition and the interior is in poor condition.

Is being unfair to unmount it, but it's for a good cause. All that is good in this car it will go mine. :)

In the future maybe this will be a project of a track day car...

Yes it's the same in the UK regarding the salt on the roads, very very difficult to find one now that hasn't got any rust.

Yes I know, the salt on the roads it's sucks ... :-x

But I'll try to take the best of both cars and make a good ST162 ... :D

The exhaust system has changed completely and the catalyst converter was removed.

    The original muffler damaged:

Once i have changed the distribution kit and the exhaust system, the car now makes small explosions of fuel in the exhaust... This only happens between 2000rpm and 3000rpm.

Here is the video that shows what I'm talking about ... In the movie you can´t hear very well.. but maybe help…
