i just found 320 degree duration cams for a 1st gen 3sg. that's just insane. well eric i've looked at my options and i think i'll stay with the GE cams. but i would like springs and retainers. so olympic for the seals, toyota for the buckets, now to find springs and retainers... so looks like i'm getting seals. eric can you look up the springs and keepers? everywhere i find them they are just f'ing retarded expensive.
notorious for the f1 atlantic series 4age 20 valves. sometimes toyota does crazy things. camry in nascar, corolla engines in f1. whats next? 4runner rocketships? jeezus! check it out brah! http://www.lycos.com/info/toyota-atlantic-series.html
That would make sense. There is a guy here in montana who has what he claims to be a Toyota Pan-Atlantic 3sgte. I dont know where the Pan in the name comes from but i went and took a look at it about 2 years ago and it was a bad ass lookin gte. If i would have had the 4k he wanted for it i would have bought it. As far as i know he still has it. He had a couple of Cosworth Escorts and a few other really rare cars.
yes actually. the only ting available for less than 800 bucks is the seals. there are no more 165 springs. so measurement hell!
with that much duration, wouldnt you be worried about excessive overlap? and losing intake charge because of it?
would you happen to know what the lobe seperation angle (lsa) is? and what the duration is @.050" lift
those cams are made by toda. they only work at above 5 or 6K rpm. i think you need a starter box to get the motor running.
have you guys checked into the adjustable cams by OBX? i see them on ebay a lot. don't know anything about them though
those are cam gears not cams. aem, toda, fidanza, obx, ats, hks all make them. i'm sure there are more as well.
