Where did you get your spring seat rubbers?

I've been looking for 'em everywhere.

    And aftermarket endlinks also.

Any part number or online site you can direct me to? If so any help would be great.

    Thanks.

I got the rubbers from Toyota, part number: 48158-12020.
Endlinks can be bought from any bigger car part store here.

You mean the 30mm nut on the end of the driveshaft? I believe it's fastened properly, as it was taken apart multiple times since I hear the noise.

aha! i have this problem... if it was any way out of spec at all and the bearing was a cheap brand your bearing will only last about 10000km...

But the noise was there before I replaced the wheel bearings.
Btw, I don't buy anything cheap, just japanese brand aftermarket stuff!

Not yet, will check them tomorrow! Do you have any tips what should I look for? Just try to move/shake them and I will see clearly if there is a problem?

-have someone rev the motor while you whatch it. if the mounts are bad the engine will rock when its revd.

I checked the engine mounts, they look fine to me:

On the trip last weekend, both windows were pulled down, and I realized that both sides are making the noise, separately. I've spoken with a mechanic, and he told me that a strut can make such noises, even when it's performing well in dampening. So currently I suspect my front struts. Any opinions about this?

As I said before I think your spring cushions are f/d. I had this problem and the inflator shows why

Only other suggestion is your swaybar links & mounts - disconnect and go for a drive
to confirm or eliminate the swaybar assy.

Oh, I thought you meant the lower insulator (under the springs) when you said. Thanks, that's one more chance for me :)

LionTR, it could be the steering rack, like Sean said. Haha there's already quite of a few of us including myself that have this clacking no matter what we do to the suspension. So add that possibility to your list :eek:hnoes
I'm pretty sure this is my problem as well, considering all the symptoms my car has.

    Hm :eek:hnoes

    What are your other symptoms?
The only strange thing I feel about steering is when the car is moving and I turn the wheel slowly, it doesn't feel smooth and consistent, but a little lumpy. Other than that, it feels stable, and there is no play. Earlier my steering felt heavy, but that got sorter with a belt change.

If it comes to that, should I look for something like this on eBay:

, or can I buy some repair kit and try to remanufacture the one from my spare car?
