So my center heater vents aren't working. they will work for a second after I turn the heater on but then I hear it switch to the defroster even if I have the vents selected. is there a fix for this that anyone is aware of?

I forgot I started this thread lol. I figured it out and decided not to fix it but to instead remove the center vents and install my boost, oil pressure, and afr gauge there instead.

That's the same hole I'm going to use to run my right side net (per our racing rules) through and back to my roll bar main hoop.

the center vents only have warm air when selected, in all other selections they only blow cold air or don't blow at all.

Yeah, there is a flap in there that had a arm attached to a motor that opens and closes it. The arm was broken. I couldn't get air through them with them selected.

Yeah my whole dash is already gutted, in fact if anybody needs the stuff, I have all the vents, air ducts, heater core, A/C condenser and blower assembly just lying around collecting dust.....

How much for the heater core and blower assembly? Mine smells like something burning when I run it...

The shipping cost will be fairly high, but the parts would be very cheap, in fact you can have the heater core for $10 and the blower motor for $15. PM your shipping address and I'll check on shipping cost for you.
