hey guys, just wanted to share with you that i picked up some basic maintenance goodies that will be introduced to my gt-s this weekend. i got a great deal on both my k &n drop in air filter and the ngk platinum plugs off of ebay. the filter (may or may not be used. looks clean but they aren't hard to clean) i got for a whopping $15.00 and the plugs i got for a whole $30.00. not bad if i do say so myself...which i did. i have not replaced either one since buying the car over a year ago, so it is definitely needed. well i will let you guys know how they "perform" once they are in and i take them for a spin. :D YAY ME!

dang that sux. i have just a pod filter, but no bracket for it. got it for free from a friend, but i dont want to go with a sort ram set up cuz i wont have a heat shield for the filter. not crafty enough to glue some plastic together and drill a hole. and yes i am always looking for thins for the gt-s. but of course i am getting the 20 year old blues from the car and need to swap axles, oil seals, and just clean the hell out of it.

Why not try to re-sell that incorrect filter and use that money towards a new, correct filter?

Well I finally got my filter today; just took a long time. Ordered it on Nov.18 and got it today.

hahah i thought about it. there is a total of 4 of these incorrect filters that the guy sent me on ebay. i dont even know if anybody with a ford f350 30 passenger van would want one of these. hahaha maybe i should go solicit some mormon churches, they always have cargo vans :p j/k but yeah, there is someone on ebay selling them just shy of 50 with free shipping. i think i will have to do that deal. i dont think i can get it through work since we actually dont get ours straight from k&n. :|

are you sure those ebay plugs are the right heat range for your celi? if she runs to hot you can burn valves and pistons, as for the pod filter, just make that bitch fit, run piping from the front of the car underneath the headlight.... bit of tlc may be needed lol
