So I got this huge dent on my fender of my alltrac right. Decide to take the fender off as I was taking of the bots I notice my fender looked welded onto the car. I was puzzle did they come stock like that? Don't think is welded but seem like some kind of silicone glue, I'm not sure. Just checking if I was the only one.

I have heard of industrial-strength glues used for metal in auto-repair, but AFAIK, the All-Trac fenders were bolted on. Could be that the previous owner used some silicone to keep out water or fill up a seam after a repair...?

yeah def bolt on and off, sounds like a prev bodge, good luck with it, the fenders themselves can twist and distort if you are a bit heavy with them, I did this by acident on a scrap car with a good wing so go easy!

OMG the rare welded fender car...holy shit. The holy grail of alltracs!!!

Are you stupid? Why would they weld a fender onto a vehicle from the factory? C'mon man, I know you are tring to learn, but some of these questions are just retarded. A little bit of common sense goes a long way.

Cut the silicone, remove the fender. Try to fix the dent. Be carefull with the fender when you take it off as the older they are, they seem much easier to tweak. If its F'ed, you'll have to get one for a stock GTS and drill the spots for the alltrac front kit to mount up.
