well, you all know i dont have a 4th gen anymore. but, this is the only place i know i can get some sort of info. well, here it is. my e-brake or the mr2 holds, but not too well. if i give it a nudge, per say, the car will move. and depending on how steep an incline is, it wont hold even when its in gear. the rear brakes dont have shoes and it seems to push the piston to hold it in place. i dont know. its just what i've seen. i havent taken it apart yet to investigate further. thanks!

    rear brakes dont have shoes???

Is it drum or disk on the rear..."piston".... so i'm assuming disk?

Sounds like you have cables on the calipers?

Only way to adjust those is by adjusting the cables with the wheels off the ground till they catch and then back off the adjuster till the wheel frees up.
Don't forget to chock the front wheels with a rear engine car!!

Drum adjustment is the same but on a small wheel hidden under a rubber plug
You can see it clearly in the 4th pic - http://www.st162.net/forum/showthre...ore-jdm-oddities&p=37377&viewfull=1#post37377

You have no idea, the Alfa's had adjusters on the caliper pistons as well as a single cable fed thru both calipers
Those are impossible to get to (inboard) and even more fun to adjust, but awesome when they work right
