You will need a MAP(manifold absolute pressure) sensor. The 3sgte comes with one that would work fine(up to around 17-18psi i think is the range limit). You will also need an MAT(manifold air temperature) sensor. Map sensor- tells the computer how much boost/vacuum the ENGINE is working with(independent of the turbo) MAT- tells the computer the temperature of the air entering the engine, you can get a kit that includes the sensor and a plate to mount it in place of the cold start injector so with those two sensors you have the "density" part of the equeation speed- refering to engine speed, is picked up by the distributor.
Hi guis, I have an other question, I still waiting for the Megasquirt, and I've been see the wiring diagrams and the pinout of the st162 ecu and the 165ecu, and it's the pretty much the same, it seems that the principal controlador of the car are in the same place into the 2 ecu, can't it be possible to work the st165 ecu on an 162 harness??
