Devious New Toy.

So after a few smokes and coffees it dawned on me...

*perhaps the eyebrow/lid was damaged in the crash so it won't fit properly*

I had a little investigate and low and behold the mounting brackets were bent out of shape, thus forcing the lid over...

Bad side...





Good side...



So, with a little bending and manipulation it went back on much better. Its by no means perfect and still sits slightly under the bonnet (hood for my colonial cousins).





I also had a new stereo delivered so popped that in for a trial fit.



Thus concludes my days work. Off for a couple days R&R.

I'm glad cos I have a sneaky suspicion I'm gonna need it. Lol

I'm baaack.
So, Celi Status update...

There has been a small amount of body roll on the passenger side (point of impact) and will need to go on a jig to straighten her out. It's only mm's but throws the panel gaps right out.
Got some replacement trim to tidy her up and a new eyelid so she looks a touch better.

Ive also sourced some fibre glass wings which should reduce the cost of repair significantly.

I really do need a new sun roof as mine is rusted to hell. Does anyone have any links to the fibre glass ones that were around a few years back?

I can't find anything...
