    Congratulations on the new paint!

I don't want to put the pre-face lift front on the car.. I like the look of the post better. I may use parts that are the same, like the hood and fenders though.

    Thanks

    Small update...

Car is in my name, and I can drive it again now. 8) The oil plug gasket was torn, new one fixed that. No oil leaks now, that was lucky. Rear brakes have been fixed and grease, no more locked caliper. Second gear pop-out is getting to be really annoying.

I went down to the gas station to get some gas for the mower and some for the Celica, when these 2 20+/- year olds noticed my car and each were each staring at it. When I went in to pay, they looped around to get a better look at it. Now, I wounder if they were looking at it because of the damage, or because they like the car. :) These strange looks are not new to me, I got them a lot when I drove my dad's 65 Corvair.

I swear, my car has attracted bad luck ever since it was kicked out of the garage 2 years(?) ago, and its still adjusting to having it's place back...

Second day driving to school and its raining like crazy, can barely see where the puddles are at. I wasn't sure how fast to I could go though the puddles in this car, but the first few times was too fast, splashing water a foot over the hood. I get to my friend's house and he gets in and I look at the tach and its dropping below 500 rpm, and before I can hit the gas it dies. I couldn't hear it from the heavy rain. I try to start it and it won't spark... Water was shorting out the ignition system. I had to take the bus, luckily I was early enough to catch it, although I was soaked till the end of the day, and my shoes were wet till I took them off at home. Started right up when I got back from school. Trunk's carpet got damp, opened up the plug under the spare and left the hatch open for a few days. Kinda glad it happened in his driveway and not the road and his parents were cool about it... but still sucked.

On the Second day -- that I made it to school -- after I got home I looked at the car in the garage and noticed a huge ass dent in the Driver's side fender with a footprint on it. Some jerkoff decided to get his jollies by kicking in my fender (I didn't even know that was possible to make a dent like that with your foot!), or was getting revenge because I took his spot? The fender was already dented a bit from the accident, and rusted, but it wasn't that bad... Now it looks just as bad as the other side.

I took photos, and sketched the footprint and went to the school's officer and asked him if there were any cameras in the area, and there wasn't. The only real lead I had was a shoe print and a parking spot, so I didn't get much help.
