Thats a clean looking engine bay man But Sorry youre wrong [rye]..that header came out australia, its a knock off genie header.
If it is was a real Genie it would have a Genie Stamp on the 1st runner.

The #1 runner would be the one closest to the egr piping..or piston #4
I wouldt worry about it tho..it about the same as the real ones &
its a huge metal stamp that is welded on..i dont almans is real either..
    Everyone cant be Me ;)

I wonder how much HP that header free's up....

everyone knows that extractors free up the exhaust flow, but it all depends on how restrictive the manifold is, on our 3sge's, the manifold looks very un restrictive, compared to most car manifolds lol.

and rye, i just noticed your hood scoop matches your grill, they go good together..nice work!

Heh that was the plan! The very bottom and middle piece is the grille that was cut and the top is just the metal from the cut hood....all bondo'd up it turned out half decent...

You can't see it in the picture but you can still see a ton of imperfections on the hood that need to be smoothed out.....not until springtime now though! Boo on winter! Boo!

[IMG] this is from a car with a restrictive manifold and downpipe

is that a stock exhaust mani? i've never taken one off hahaha

looks a hell of a lot more restrictive than the aftermarket ones!

extractors seem to keep the power constant through to redline, rather than backing off just before it without a/m extractors

thats not from a celica, u should see the old 70s ford falcons, there manifolds looked sooo horibble cuz they didnt think it made much of a difference

I'm pretty sure that my extractors are Genies, but they are missing the stamp. They are painted blue like EVERY single genie ST162 extractors I've ever seen.

The standard gen 1 exhaust manifolds way a ton! Extractors make changing oil filters a lot easier too, depending on the design.

dood...youre way off, i'll take a pic later of the cast one i had taken apart...they are insanely restrictive..Expecially the down pipe ..its nuts

I can tell you from when i swapped on my 2nd JDM header that noticed quite dif in power power and the motor note was much throatier

how much estimated torque and power difference was there?
