Some old people pulled out and didnt give way to my brother in New South Wales.. My bro is all good and the people in the other car are ok, although in hospital getting fixed up.... But very sad day for this ST162.. What a shame!
HAHAHA all you can do I guess.. Well after I'm done with what I need hahaha.. sorta like a new shopping center opening up with celica car parts.. hahaha Nah I have to see what he's doing, I'd say that he;ll probably do something like that later on. But will let you know if your interested?..
Shit! That really sucks :sad Looks like it was a pretty mint specimen too. I hope the old people had insurance :banghead Aaron.
That's a shit one you can right-that one off now hope you guy's sort it out soon by maybe getting another body shell. Sorry to hear.
Yer, not quite sure at the moment.. Still waiting to hear back about what happened. I swear if this happened in mine, I would not be very happy that's for sure... The amount and time and effort just getting smashed up like that.. Not cool... hahaha
:sad ........ Another fine specimen crumpled....... I'v just gotta go out and give my Lightning some lov'in. That's nasty and such a shame and it's on a quiet country road, WTF, (where is this road, I'm in Ballina, NSW)....... I guess as long as there's no serious injuries....... is it a possible write off with bent subframe etc..... dunno...... I guess the only way to tell is to pull it apart and see. let's hope they have comprehensive insurance. How tough are our Celi's, there's no cracked windscreen, no damage to the drivers door...... What was the other car ? obviously a tad higher as it tried to mount the poor Celi :shock , although that's not hard to do as ours ride so low. Ask your Bro to sign up here.
wow...beyond repair indeed .... this is indeed very f*cked up... All he can do (financially) is brake the car in parts and let you sell those overhere.
fark...such a clean car too...as long as everyone is okay i guess! if he needs help for parting out, that sunroof looks like in good condition, may be interested...
Yeah I've noticed that Stig, everyones getting rid of their sleekas over here. Too bad I don't have any money or my yard would have about 4 parts cars. And the Mrs would not like that Aaron.
That's why we invented the "Man shed" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE9tk7h5Tjk Im looking for few guys to club together and .....
Hey Stig...... what a classic tv ad that was but it's the shortened version...... the full one (at the end) has one of the lads looking out the window and spies one of the wives heading down to the shed with a plate of nibbles..... panic sets in and by the time she gets there all is normal :lachtot
:smilielol5 I haven't seen that classic ad for quite a while! We have had some bloody good ads haven't we! Aaron.
Hope everything will work out for your brother. Everyone over here is tossing their Celica's in the junkyard. :sad5 LMFAO
Dunno if OZ is bringing in a similar rule but as of next year NOTHING pre- 2005 will be allowed into the country. (Classics exempt 35yrs+) Only post 2005 Toyota worth having is......? OMF, help me out here! I wish we still had stuff like this here - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190610132414&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:AU:1123
Somebody decided there were too many cheap cars in NZ. The average age of cars here is 13yrs and they want to bring it down to 7, there's also a lot of emissions mumbo jumbo which nobody believes anyway as cars aren't even tested here. Reality is NZ has trade partnerships with China and my 2c is that they are trying to give Chinese cars a chance. Not that anyone I know would actually buy one?
