yea on that note i rather just swap in a jdm first gen 3sge if it gets the same or better highway miles than the 5sfe and i dont have to go searching for parts all year. my parts list is the engine, ecu, and wiring harness i believe.can anyone confirm?

By far the easiest way to complete a swap from 3sfe to 3sge is to buy a donor car. A crashed up or rusted out celica can be bought for well under $500. Rebuild (or have some one rebuild) the motor from the donor car, and swap over the parts. This way you have everthing you need, and it should be much cheaper than buying individual parts here and there. The exhaust can be swapped over along with the motor (all the way back to the muffler). You also get the GT-S axles with the donor car, and any other spare parts you might need.

Another plus is storage - before you start your project, the cars just sit in the driveway, and they can be easily moved.

Time wise this swap can easily be completed in a weekend, not counting engine rebuild time. That's how long it took to do the reverse of this swap in my brother's car (3sge to 3sfe - i know, don't ask - if that damn 3sge wasn't so rare it would be a different story).
