The rad fan is now on the outside between the cooler and radiator.

Well she's blown her rad .

Was going to get a dual core but realised it wont fit due to the inter cooler pipe work going up through.

maybe make some adjustments or some new brackets and move it closer toward the exhaust, should be a bit of room if you have the fans on the outside of the radiator. Just a thought, i cant tell where your cooler pipe is running from that pic. if you want it bad enough you will find a way to make it fit lol.

Oh just noticed the heat wrap you have on the pipe which tells me that my idea wont work at all since the pipe is on that side of the radiator, hmm perhaps if you are good at working with sheet metal you can make some adjustments to your cross brace so the radiator can move farther forward.

Ant been on in a while Scott.

Their are a few mods that have taken place along with a new head as the old one had a crack and was leaking oil on to the exhaust manifold.

So new rebuilt head Port and polished inlet side,
162 Side feed inlet manifold adapted to take the 165 throttle body,
165 throttle body has been changed slightly to use the 162 throttle cable,
    TVIS has been taken out,
162 cam covers are now going to be used.
    1.4, MH gasket,

This is the new set up has it stands to date ready to go back in soon

Now on the look out for a 205 lump to rebuild.

162 covers on a 165 head ? Did all your bolt holes in the 162 covers line up with the 165 head. Seems to me when I tried it the middle hole on the inside of each cover did not line up.

Yeah mate they all line up perfectly with no problems what so ever .

Hears another pic of someone else who also done the same thing.

And hears a pic of mine with the bolts in

The top bolt holes are for the plug cover

Okay so technically they don't line up but you can get around that by using a big washer and bolt in the adjacent hole

That's strange how mine are lined up.

But yes as said you can use the next hole with the big washer, For the amount of torque on the bolts it would hold fine.

Had a few problems with the gt4 over the last year or so . Had to change the pistons and rings due to ringlands broke on no 2-3-4.

Then the AFM was playing up so managed to source a new one well second hand It's all back together now and running great.

Now need to get a new screen as mine has cracked as seen in video.

I got some covers for mine from New Zealand and the bolt holes don't match up, my other two sets of covers do match to both my engines though. It's really odd, there seems to be some minor variations about.
