New GT4

This is on the to do list very soon., All tough the rad looks fine i would feel much better with a new ally one fitted,
Must be careful with the room i have to work with and not go to wide, I suppose i can fit the slimline fans though.

 

A few pics after a good clean polish and wax yesterday also a lazy eye kit fitted.









Still saving the pennies for a good set of rubbers for the Roulettes but i think the rad will need to be replaced first

 

Give me a minuet mate and i will get some pics of the install and the link.
They are pretty basic really . They consist of a length of cable 3 way switch which is on,off,and momentary and a fusible link

 

OK hear you go mate the fusible link which goes to the RTR 30 amp fuse in the box by the battery



And the 3 way switch which is already wired on arrival ,



The up position is normal lights
Middle is off so the head lights stay closed and only the side markers will come on.
The down is hold and release for how ever high you wont the lights up anything from a few mm to fully open.

I know it says gt4 but they are the same for the standard celica i have the same set on my 182 to

 

The switch is already wired and the other end just goes to the fusebox pictured that's it mate no more wiring needed.

After reading your thread for CJN on ccuk when i joined which was all 42 pages then i knew i wonted a gen 4.
CJN has been the inspiration for a lot of the gen 4 owners over on ccuk.' I know she was and still is for me, Now with the Beams fitted she is in a class of her own lol

 

Turbo timer turned up today also the harness.



Strange how i ordered both the same day and within a few mins of each other i came from Hong Kong and 1 from my own country and they both turn up on the same day lol.

Any how now fitted and set to run for 1 min



What's the average run time to set it for please guys ?

Been working on her since Feb non stop to get her to this stage.
Just a few little things i want to change on her.

 

Got round to fitting the second fog light,



Also put the 3D badge in the parcel shelf,



Thought it may be distracting at night but it's not bad at all

 

Just a little job i decided to do yesterday to stop people fumbling around in the dark looking for the door handle





Comes on with the ignition so with the turbo timer set for 40 seconds they also stay on when the car is turned off for 40 seconds. So plenty of time for people to get out before it all shuts off lol
