Been away in Ireland all last week, went to watch the WRC. was crazy, the speed of the cars on wet tarmac just mad! holy balls that's fast! I love rally so much, one day I wanna see it live like that. I lost my ability to dl the rally footage from Europe though makes me sad

It was soo funny the entire village came out for the rally stage, everything stopped as all the local roads were closed. Walking in the pitch black at 5.30am 3-4 km up the hill in muddy fields to see the stage however was not so much fun. It was crazy, you had like maybe 2000 stood in the pitch black at 6.00am waiting to see rally cars, was very surreal. but getting so close to the action was totally worth the effort.
yeah the thought did occur to me, that the crumbling stone wall and bit of barb wire would not stop a rally car at 100mph, as it was a Clio spin out just done the road, but only damage was to a farm gate!
