Holy crap my car lives again!

Did the valve and ignition timing today, closed my eyes made a wish and turned the Key, and it worked :D

swap over my plates tomorrow and take it in for a wheel alignment. and then I can finally enjoy the car

Yea, but if i bought them again i would go to a 16", I allready had to replace 2 that got bent on a pot hole this spring (less then 1000k on em when it happened)

I am so paranoid it will happen again it kinda takes the fun out of driving.

I always liked Mindy as a guys name =P

funny thing is when i put 'His' i thought to myself 'i bet its a girl, should i just call her MR2guru' but then i got lazy and decided it was too much work to hit the backspace key and type in her handle.

    crazy

baby is still on its way (not expecting until April)

car is running better now that i put in the new alternator.

engine still throws a code 41 now and then, and i noticed that sometimes the throttle body sticks (car wont drop in RPMs until i tap the gas) so i need to take it off and give it a good cleaning. also want to do the thermostat

but has over 1000km since i did the head gasket and timing. and she is running fine (other then those few minor things) so overall i am super happy especially because prior to this my mechanical experiences stopped at swapping an alternator.

Many congratulations hurray on the baby front. Make sure your wife reads lots of Celica literature, so the baby has a head start in life.
Your Celica is looking handsome, make sure your footwear is clean , when using those pedals! Or keep a clean pair in the car for driving only hehe

Great stuff Tyler, just like me, I give it a wipe every morning, good old microfibre cloth, they are a godsend!
If she"s not clean I feel uncomfortable when I"m driving, like I haven"t had a shower!
