I hear a strange squeeling sound coming from the drivers front whenever I turn my car to the right at a certain angle. If I turn the wheel more or less it does away and it never happens when I go left. Any ideas?
one thing I should add is that it started after I realised too late that I had to turn right and had the wheel turned when I hit the brakes kind hard. I'm gonna try to mark the spot next time it happens and go underneath with the wheel in that spot.
I'll be doing those both but not til the spring. what are the possible side effects of not fixing it now? it's only been doing it for say a month and it hardly ever comes up.
If it's the wheel bearing, you could ruin the hub/spindle by driving on it too long. That happened to me because I delayed diagnosing and/or fixing it right away. I'd advise checking it out ASAP. Link: http://www.celicatech.com/forums/showth ... el+bearing
hmm doesn't sound like that but maybe I'll check it out this weekend. I'd need another alignment after too wouldn't I?
